Lately...

Ten more weeks!! It went by so fast, but we are so excited for Hunter to enter our lives.
We went camping up at diamond fork over memorial weekend. It was way fun but it rained on us every night and part of every day. We were able to get a truck tent and if any of you have ever seen these things...they are amazing!!! We stayed dry the whole time and we were warm and comfy. If you have ever thought of getting one...I would have to say its very worth it. Our cousins had a tent on the ground next to us and they woke up with their sleeping bags soaking wet! They were frozen! Luckily my family has trailers so they were able to go warm up, but I was sooo happy we were up off the ground. Jason went four wheeling and I wish we would have taken pictures cause it was one muddy ride. They all came back covered in mud. THey had a blast though. I have to say I was sad I was not able to participate this year.

We also found out our friends Chris and Courtney are expecting!! We are excited more of our friends will have little ones around the same time we will.
We have gone to Salem quite a bit lately to go fishing and it has been great. Tonight we went with Tyce and Rachel and We ran into megan from American Idol. SHe walked right past us and she happened to make eye contact with me when I pointed at her to tell Jason it was megan from AI so I kinda felt dumb. I wanted to go up and say something, but there was no way I was going to do that. She was with her little boy and another guy. It was neat, but Im sure she was glad nobody went up to say anything to her. I think I might have a hard time with people all up in my grill too if I were a known face. The next eventful thing of the night was when me and rachel were sitting there talking when all of a sudden we heard this loud sound and a big KERPLOP!!! and realized that Tyce's pole had gone in the lake....hahahaha. It was really funny at the moment that a catfish took his pole lol!! It was sad at the end though, cause it really was taken out far and couldnt be found. There is a triathlon in the morning though...it was suggested that if any of the swimmers saw a fish dragging a pole around.... hahahaha too funny. Anyway, thats pretty much whats new with us... No new pics though. We have kinda been slacking in that area.

ITS A BOY!!!

We are so excited to know we are having a little BOY!!!! It was so cool in the ultrasound to see him moving around...his heart beating...and he even had the hiccups for part of it so he kept jumping around lol. It was so amazing! We both cried. His name will be Hunter J. Hansen. We are stoked!

Fun in the canyon

There are a few things I have been so happy about lately...first one is driving around with sunglasses, and my windows rolled down...the second would be not having to scrape the frost off my windows and third would be going up to the canyon with friends!! Im so glad its getting warm enough to be able to do these things! We went tonight with some friends and had tin foil dinners, roasted marshmellows, and just had a fun time. It was great...the tin foil dinner was soo dang good...I wanted a second one lol. Jason of course brought our fishing gear...it was pretty shallow so he was not having much luck until I said "doesnt look like there are any..." and BAM...he caught one. It was true magic im telling ya haha. Anyway, it turned out great and we cant wait for BBQ's and more spring/summer fun!

We are loving the warmer weather!

The last little while has been busy! We have been waking up to the sound of saws, drills, and tasting dust the last few weeks. They are putting a new kitchenette in and it is right next to our bedroom. We are excited for the final product, but living in the mess has not been so pleasant. Its ok though.

I went and saw Twilight for the fifth time a week or two ago...I dont care what anyone says, twilight is the most amazing thing! The books are of course ten times better, but i absolutely LOVE the movie! My husband doesnt mind cause it just makes me Love him even more haha.By the way the dvd is coming out soon! Ill be in line. Some of the other movies we have seen together lately :: Henry poole is here (interesting movie, but i actually thought it was pretty good), Lakeview Terrace (intense, but probably wont see it again, we watched Eagle Eye FOREVER ago but we really liked that one! Oh and Jazz games and American Idol have also been our favorite things to watch lately! I really want Danny to win, but I also really like the red headed girl (I forget her name). We have also adopted watching Spongebob squarepants, play wrestling (have to be careful now), and jumpin around and just being kids every Sunday morning hahaha!!! Seriously though, we like spongebob..we learn valuable things like "dont ever skip school or you will become a criminal and end up in jail!" hahaha. Its ok, we like to be different!

We had my grandparents from California come up and see us! It was way fun too. Unfortunately, Jason couldnt get off work to chill for the day, but it still was great.
My brother Rajen has been over here painting the upstairs and hanging out. He is going out to work with Apex as a tech in April...he has come such a long way and is doing soooo dang good! Im so proud of him! Jason's sister Cierra is in Hawaii and never fails to send us text messages saying things like "Im just laying out on the beach with an umbrella in my refreshing drink" or "im just eating at cheeseburger in paradise"--that was mine and Jas's favorite place to eat in Hawaii...it was soo dang good! Anyway, we are a bit jealous of her.

We get to find out what the gender is of our baby Friday the 20th!! We CANNOT wait and I get so tempted to go somewhere and just find out earlier! I have had a lot of people say its a girl, a few of our friends are CONVINCED they are psychic ( ;) ) and they have claimed its a girl, but I have had two dreams it was a boy... so we will see what happens... :)

Whats new

Well.. its already February... I cant believe how fast time has gone! We have been up to a lot of fun stuff. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat a few weeks ago and it was soo cool! Its so crazy! I cant believe there is another life form in there! Anyway..more pics of the last few months..

Well, now that Christmas is over I have a little more time to update! WE loved the snow that has fallen so far! We have had a lot of fun in it with old blue! We had a lot of christmas parties with friends, family and work. It has been a grand ole time! We also spread the news of us being pregnant! ITs exciting and we cannot wait to be parents!

The other night, we went with a few friends to the PIE PIzzeria in salt lake, walked around temple square to see the lights, and watched the Joseph Smith Movie. It was a fun night! We missed having our other friends there though!

Excited for the HoLiDaYs!!

It has been far too long since an update. A lot has changed! First things first, we sold our jeep. I was sad to see it go but Jason was not. We are riding around with one vehicle...mine. We are so grateful we were able to sell the jeep when we did though!! Jason has had some time in the last couple months to fix up his old '74 baby blue chevy. ITs probably the coolest truck around... haha I absolutely love it!! It always has a new leak somewhere every other week but we love it. Its nice for Jason to have something to just go to work and back. We will get a new vehicle next year sometime, but until then its just us, baby blue and vonda the mazda! We recently got out of our condo as well. We are living in the basement of my grandma's house in Orem. Its actually not too bad. Its really spacious and we dont mind that its old haha we are in savings mode! Things have been going great for us and we are excited for the holidays!!

Jason got to go on a guided fishing trip while I was in Chicago for work. This is our friend Jared from his work.

One of our good friends also got married over the last couple months. This was at her bridal shower. We were supposed to make a wedding dress out of toilet paper...well my team decided to make a swimmer style/80's/exerciser type dress hahaha it was great

Me and Jas went hiking a couple months ago. This is one of the trails we went on. On our way back a huge animal jumped around by us and freaked us both out! (Thats when I was really glad Jason was a hunter...safe!!)
